“Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness”- Joseph Pilates…….Often times the goals of fitness overshadow the very basic needs that being physically active meet. Yes, goals are important and that is what will keep us motivated. But besides getting stuck in pounds we want to lose, or the time we have shaved off a mile, it is important to recognize that being active makes us happy and makes us feel better about ourselves. Enjoy being active, whether it be a class at the gym, a walk on the beach, or a kick butt session with your favorite trainer.
