Many of us put off stretching during our workouts or forget about it all together. The truth is that stretching is very important and should be done consistently. Consistent stretching prevents muscle injury and increases blood flow to the muscle. Tips for stretching: Stretch after you have already warmed up, hold each stretch between 15-30 seconds, don’t bounce, remember to breathe, lastly don’t aim for pain.
